Let's face it, women's history month celebrations can be...well, performative. The random CEO emails ("we support women! I have a daughter! Buy our spark-joy kitchen containers!") or the two-sentence histories of the same five women every year...leaves a bit to be desired. I'm not sure the women we're honoring would be impressed.
Instead, what if we honored trailblazing women of the past by elevating the women in front of us today?
Could women's history month be a time to reflect and develop the next generation of female leaders?
Learn about women in the textbooks as well as how to support the girls and women in your own life?
Let's develop the generation in front of us so that they can make history for the next generation.
